Functional principles of energy management

Your control commands go swiftly and surely to their target: out from each operator terminal via the central computer to the transmitter and on to the destination devices, for the most varied of applications.

The user terminal (a conventional PC with special software) is used to prepare control commands. Transmission of the command telegrams to the central computer is achieved by telecommunication (Datex-P, ISDN). The central computer may also be controlled from stationary and mobile devices (laptops, mobile phones) via the Internet and a special web server.

EFR's central computer administers the telegrams and passes them on to the transmitter. It ensures that the transmission requirements of each subscriber are individually fulfilled, rapidly and reliably.

The long-wave transmitter sends the data via the transmission antenna to the radio receiver. Thanks to the particular properties of long waves, they can also be received by receivers in valleys and basements. The control commands are implemented as required.

Energy Management

Multiple safety measures guarantee the functional efficiency of the system. The transmitter and the central computer are both of redundant construction.

Typical fields of application include the management of lighting in towns and communities, tariff and load management, and the management of generation capacity at power supply companies.
