Spontaneity thanks to long-wave radio

EFR's long-wave radio can transmit control commands comprehensively and rapidly, and reach any number of receivers reliably within a few seconds - essential for near-realtime load management.

EFR's Inhome solutions give the required visibility of energy consumption and thus provide consumers with the incentive to actively change their pattern of energy consumption. In addition, EFR's approach provides additional current information that extends the usability for end clients, so that the EFR HomeDisplay has a lasting interest for the client.

Modular meter technology

EFR's approach is based on the use of modular hardware. The meter should be robust and durable, so that it can remain installed for a long period, and should be sufficiently protected against tampering. It should have an open and standardized interface, to which a separate communication module can be connected.

By working together with selected partner companies, EFR is able to offer the whole spectrum of services, both for installation of Smart Metering and also for providing metering operations and metering services.
