The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) published a tender for the transmission of the national time signal in June 2017.

Our Indian representative, Mr. Pawan Kasera, has successfully submitted an offer based on two longwave transmitters and the implementation of the technology used by EFR.

At the end of March 2018, a letter of intent was signed in New Delhi between NPL and the Indian LW service provider “IFR”. The event was well received and was mentioned several times in the daily press.
